CSI’s DRAM Tactical Tablet Successfully Supports Port Operations

Cougaar Software, Inc. (CSI), an innovative technology company in the Washington DC area specializing in AI and distributed intelligent agent solutions, is pleased to announce the successful completion of recent testing of DRAM and DRAM Tactical Tablet by the 21st Theater Sustainment Command at the port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands.

Military Logistics and transport planning are extremely challenging – especially in a theater of operations. Military requirements and environments further compound the already daunting complexities of peace-time transportation operations. The Distribution and Retrograde APEX Management (DRAM) project, sponsored by U.S. Army Futures Command to enhance ammunition transportation management, has developed an extremely flexible, state-of-the-art logistics planning and execution monitoring system for theater military applications. DRAM, using CSI’s adaptive planning technology, is in operational use supporting United States Army Europe. The 21st Theater Sustainment Command uses DRAM to plan and execute intratheater transportation in Europe. This command press release shows the command’s 39th Movement Control Battalion using DRAM and the DRAM Tactical Tablet as they execute the reception, staging and onward movement (RSOM) of the 1st Calvary Division’s 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team.

DRAM Operationalization in Europe: The 39th Movement Control Battalion of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command employs DRAM and the DRAM Tactical Tablet at the port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands as it executes reception, staging and onward movement of the 1st Calvary Division’s 2nd brigade (2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team).
