Cougaar Software, Inc. (CSI), an innovative technology company in the Washington DC area specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and distributed intelligent agent solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a six-month subcontract to work with Battelle under the Defense Technical Information Center’s Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) to support the US Air Force’s Aerial Port of the Future.

Congruency Engine for Rapid Baseline & Effective Readiness of Unified Services (CERBERUS) is being developed as part of the “Aerial Port of the Future” initiative. This award seeks to extend and commercialize the previous SBIR Phase II effort into the CERBERUS platform technology by revolutionizing how the Air Force logistics and supply chain system processes, manages, tracks, and moves essential assets from origin to the point of need. CERBERUS will assist the Air Mobility Command (AMC) in their efforts to load cargo in a manner that improves the efficiency of aerial port cargo operations through optimal loading configurations using CSI’s load planning technologies, AI algorithms for spatial reasoning, as well as several advanced planning technologies.
