CSI Releases MCAP Video

Cougaar Software, Inc. (CSI), an innovative technology company in the Washington D.C. area specializing in cognitive computing and distributed intelligent agent solutions, announces the release of the Marine Corps Adaptive Planning (MCAP) tool suite demonstration video.

MCAP, a multi-year S&T effort sponsored by the Office of Naval Research, establishes an Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) capability to integrate Operations, Intelligence and Logistics. MCAP leverages intelligent software agents to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force with distributed and collaborative planning and execution management. MCAP’s “Living Plan” integrates mission plans, resource requirements, and situational information during planning and throughout execution. Through its digitized situational framework and intuitive user interfaces, MCAP’s “Living Plan” can be understood and reasoned over by computers and humans alike. Using a continuously updated network, MCAP provides unprecedented shared situational awareness – assessing missions during planning and execution to identify risks and to alert users to critical battlespace conditions.

CSI leverages advanced cognitive computing concepts and technologies to provide next generation planning, decision support, and optimization systems for military and commercial customers. These solutions are built on CSI’s ActiveEdge® platform, a distributed, intelligent cognitive agent development framework based on the DARPA Cognitive Agent Architecture (Cougaar) technology. CSI’s cognitive computing technology enables users to understand and manage complex situations. Armed with CSI’s intelligent, automated, deep reasoning capabilities, users harness massive amounts of data to make better decisions, faster, and with greater confidence.
