Cougaar Software, Inc. Awarded GSA Schedule 70 Extension for Advanced Intelligent Decision Support Solutions

Cougaar Software, Inc. is pleased to announce the 5 year extension of their GSA Schedule 70 contract GS-35F-0207S for General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services with specific focus on SIN 132-51 Information Technology Services.  
 
According to Dr. Todd Carrico, President/CEO of Cougaar Software, “The extension of the GSA schedule will enable the continued growth of Cougaar Software, Inc. and the opportunity to  provide Intelligent Decision Support (IDS) to a wider government audience thus helping to solve some of the more complex distributed business problems”


CSI Completed OSD (L&RM) S&RL Technology Roadmap Study

Cougaar Software, Inc has completed our contract to support the development of the Department of Defense Sense and Respond Logistics (S&RL) Roadmap. The roadmap identifies core capabilities and technologies critical to the realization of S&RL, mapped over time capturing maturity and interconnections. The goal of the study is to understand the readiness of S&RL capabilities today and the key gaps that require intervention. CSI Wins OSD (L&RM) S&RL Technology Roadmap Study

The roadmap will include the core capabilities and technologies, mapped over time capturing maturity and interconnections. The goal of the study is to understand the readiness of S&RL capabilities today and the key gaps that require intervention.


Dr. Carrico contributed Book Chapter for "Defense Industry Applications of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems"

Dr. Todd Carrico and Dr. Mark Greaves collaborated to develop a chapter for a new book in the Whitestein Series in Software Agent Technologies and Autonomic Computing called Defense Industry Applications of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems. The Chapter is entitled "Agent Applications in Defense Logistics" and summaries the efforts of the DARPA Advanced Logistics Project (ALP) and UltraLog (UL) Project and how the technologies has moved forward in transition, applications and even a commercial product, ActiveEdge, developed by Cougaar Software, Inc.
