Cougaar Software, Inc. focuses on building robust, distributed solutions which integrate with existing databases and systems of record to solve complex functional problems, typically along the methodology and approach of a specific operational concept. Our innovative task-oriented interfaces, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration, improve job performance and effectiveness by managing the process flow and anticipating operator demands.
Functional Domains
CSI specializes in the functional domains of Operational and Tactical Logistics; Strategic and Operational Knowledge Management, Planning, Situational Awareness and Real-time Execution Monitoring. Within the Logistics domain, we have developed capabilities in the areas of Maintenance, Inventory Management, Distribution, Asset Tracking and Theater Resource Optimization. Within the Operations domain, we have developed capabilities in the areas of Operations Plan development, Readiness Assessment, Sustainability Analysis, Task-force Development, and Deployment Planning.
Supported Operational Concepts
CSI has been developing solutions in many of the leadning functional domains around several key operational concepts: Sense & Respond Logistics, Net-Centric Operations, Net-Centric Logistics, Effects-Based Operations and Adaptive Planning.
